Adults, children welcome to Carthage art class

An art class for children and adults begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Community Harvest Marketplace, Second and Walnut streets in Carthage.

Former high school teacher Marcus Ellis is the instructor for the class, titled “Van Gogh’s Notes at Age 2, or How to Doodle in One Easy Lesson with Attention to Perspective.”

Cost is only $1.00. Materials will be provided.

The class is limited to 25 persons age 8 to adult. Children must be supervised by an adult friend or family member.
